Tutor Selection Process
1. Document Verification
Objective: Verify educational and professional qualifications.
Required Documents: Resume/CV, ID proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, etc.).
2. Interview / Trial Class / Teacher Training Programme
Objective: Assess communication, subject knowledge, and teaching methods.
Process: Conduct a trial class with a sample student/group, observed by the selection team.
Evaluation: Clarity, engagement, confidence, handling questions, and use of examples.
3. Teacher Aptitude Test
Objective: Test general teaching skills and pedagogical understanding.
Format: 20 MCQs covering teaching strategies, student psychology, classroom management, subject knowledge, and problem-solving.
4. Demo Session with an Admitted Student
Objective: Assess real classroom performance.
Process: Conduct a session with an enrolled student, monitored by Mentorscue's academic team.
Evaluation: Adaptability, subject knowledge, student engagement, professionalism.
5. Final Registration (If Approved by Student)
Objective: Complete the selection and onboard the tutor.
Steps:
- If the student/staff approves, the tutor signs an agreement.
- Payment details are collected for salary processing, and the tutor is assigned to new students.
- Registration Fee: ₹200 (Non-Refundable)
Guidelines for Tutors
To ensure smooth collaboration, tutors must review and agree to the following terms before registering with us:
- Commitment: Tutors should teach for the entire academic year or until student needs are met for consistency. (At least 1 hour of class per session)
- Expertise: Tutors must have strong subject knowledge and stay updated with curriculum changes.
- Skills & Platform: Effective communication skills and familiarity with online platforms are essential.
- Stable Internet: A reliable internet connection is required for uninterrupted sessions.
- Personal Computer: We recommend using a personal computer for a more professional experience.
- Teamwork: Tutors should collaborate with peers to improve teaching quality.
- Progress Monitoring: Tutors must track and report on student progress regularly.
- Termination: Mentorscue can terminate agreements for various reasons, including student complaints.
- Professionalism: Tutors must maintain professional conduct in all interactions.
- Confidentiality: All materials and student information must remain confidential.
- Adaptability: Tutors should be flexible and adjust teaching strategies based on student needs.
- Penalty for Withdrawal: Tutors must complete the academic period, with penalties (in salary) for resignation without prior approval.
- Attendance & Reports: Tutors must submit attendance in our portal and share reports for each session in the designated WhatsApp group; failure to do so may result in non-payment and penalties.
- Communication: All class-related communication must be conducted through the designated WhatsApp group.
- Compliance: Tutors must follow all updated Mentorscue policies.
